Teams That Know How To Win
The Crimson Tide has a good baseball team but they are often overlooked because of their great football team. Bama and LSU are tied in regular season titles, with 7 each. The Crimson Tide has been to the College World Series five times in their history. There were many fans there with their Alabama Crimson Tide merchandise on. They call Sewell-Thomas Stadium home.
Their women’s softball team has existed for only 12 years but they have proven that you can be successful quickly. They have won about 75 percent of their games. They have made it to the NCAA tournament every year this decade. They have won the SEC Softball Tournament 3 times.
The head coach of Florida’s baseball team is Kevin O’Sullivan. 2005 was the best season for baseball for the Gators. During that year, there were many fans waving their Florida Gators merchandise. The baseball team won the SEC title and advanced to the College World Series which they haven’t been to in 7 years. The baseball team has made it to the championship round five times.
The 2006 team had high expectations but failed miserably. They were number 1 in many of the pre-season polls that came out. The team struggled that season. They won about half of their games towards the end of the season. They didn’t make the tourney because of the tough SEC. McMahon was fired the next year after the team failed to make the tournament again. Florida’s softball team started playing in 1995.
Georgia’s baseball team is often overlooked because of their good women’s basketball team. Their fans still love their team. They come to the games with a lot of Georgia Bulldogs merchandise.
LSU’s baseball team has won five national championships in the past 20 years. Their fans love wearing their LSU Tigers merchandise. The baseball team is coached by Paul Mainieri. The softball team is coached by Yvette Girouard.
The Texas Longhorns have the most wins in all of college baseball thanks to Augie Garrido. They have many records and have broken many of their own. Many fans get really loud and cheering with their Texas Longhorns merchandise as their team gets close to breaking a record.
